Morning all, and welcome to the weekend!

After my fall yesterday, I am not too sore, just a bit achey in places. I obviously twisted as I fell (I was carrying a tray of coffee mugs, so was probably trying to save them!) because I have a very definite "spiral" of bruises and aches, which is quite strange! Never mind - it could have been a whole lot worse, and it made me have a new appreciation for those people on MSE for whom falling and tripping is a more regular occurance due to disability or health issues.

So, today will be a lovely day - pampering (well, if you can call leg waxing, pampering lol) and hair cut this morning, then pub, and football and pub again this afternoon - and the sun is due to be shining which will just be fab. If the football goes our way too then it will be superb - we are getting so close to the end of the season now, it is increasingly nailbiting, and adds so much to the anticipation!

Moneywise, it will be an expensive one, but everything has an envelope allocated, so all good there too!

Have a good one, whatever you are doing, and I hope the sun shines for you!

Ouch to the bruises and slap some arnica on. Hope the day goes well. Doesn't look like the yellow ball is going to bless us with its presence.

Looks like the sensible option last night has worked and you are not feeling too bad.

The sun is shining here already and after one of the [STRIKE]worst[/STRIKE] busiest weeks of the year so far I am off for some retail therapy to cheer myself up. Dangerous I know but.....

Enjoy your day and don't bite those nails too far down :rotfl:

Yes, I am glad that I took the sensible route last night too! Also glad I don't have 20 miles to run today or tomorrow - that might be a step too far!

    Enjoy your retail therapy!

Hope you are not aching too much to enjoy the football Hypno. Sounds like a nice day planned. I am struggling with a decision to keep my hairdressers appointment or cancel. It is quite expensive but having gone for 12 months without a haircut and then getting one I know how good it made me feel. In the good old (pre debt) days my hair was the one thing I would spend my money on. I was always frugal with everything else. Seems I have gone the opposite way now.
Anway, I hope you enjoy all the defuzzing.

I love Retail therapy :D But MSE has definitely got to me as I am incapable of buying anything at full price any more :rotfl:

Managed a new Bra & 5 pairs of nickers that should have cost me £93 for £29.99 all in the make I always wear, 2 tops that should have been £45 for £20.98 and not such a bargain, a gorgeous fat face blue cardi down to £37 from £49.95 :D All needed, so I am a very happy bunny

Hope you got the result you wanted at the footie and are shorn & fuzz free :)

Think you got even more than the result you could have dreamed for Hypno. Thought we'd done well but nowhere near the performance I hear you got!
