The lighter evenings got to me too - I was out in the garden till 6pm, it was lovely :)

It certainly does make a difference having the lighter evenings. Despite my love of snow and skiing, I really don't like the darkness of winter!!

I don't know if any of you remember back in September time, but I was doing some challenges from Memorygirl's thread? One of them was to describe "my perfect week". I dated it 10th Sept and decided to call it up and have a look at it today. Whilst I am not quite living "the perfect week", I have to say, I was very pleased at just how close I am too it :)

It will happen, Lucielle - I wrote my perfect week out before I had sold my house......it is quite strange to think how much has changed (and for the better) since I wrote it. Was quite a pleasure to read!

This evening I have had the excitement of Tescos - thankfully some good offers have kept the total price down, so the cupboards, fridges and freezers are full, and will last us until the next payday, apart from bread, milk and fresh fruit and veg, so all good there.

I hope you have all had a good day, and are able to chill a bit this evening x

Hello Hypno - I "lost" you and am very glad to have found you again, what a lovely time you're having, and wow to the marathon training!

Thanks for the reminder about the "perfect week", I wrote mine too, along with requests to the Universe for an even lovelier house than the one I'm in, a good man in my life, a new career.....from what I can remember -

    * no change to the house situation as yet
    * am falling in lurve with MrA, a fabulicious man who ticks all the boxes so far :):)
    * new career - well, I'm studying for a course that will help me get closer to changing my career, but I think I'll be better off staying where I am for a few more years

but the perfect week is still eluding me. Never mind, I'm happy that I've made some great inroads into getting the life I deserve this year :)

*pops head in and waves* I forgot my old password and don't have the email address I registered with any more. :o But anyway, it is lovely to see you doing so well. I have kept up with how your marathon training has been going via FB but it's lovely to catch up with the rest. The cause you're running for is very close to my heart too, as I have seen first hand the differences that can be made when the right help is received. Have a good day! Snaggles xx

SNAGGLES wow how are you. I always read your threads with interest even if I didn't post much. Nice to see you back. Will you be starting a new thread on here? How are the kids doing?

Aww thanks lovely people! I'm great thanks, the kids are settled and happy, I'm in a happy relationship with such a brilliant guy and have been for...8 or 9 months now (I think), my finances are...a challenge! :) Generally, life is pretty good. I don't think I will start a new diary at the moment because I haven't really got a great deal to say, but I am hoping that coming back here will keep me focussed.

Anyway, sorry for being all me me me on your thread Hypno, pass the jaffa cakes over lovely. :D

    :rotfl: Hahaha!!

You see, this is why I need to come back here! To sort out my finances so I can afford more underwear, and to hear about everyone else's disastrous dates. :D
