Hi all,
It is time to renew my contract. I have HTC Hero handset. Nothing particularly wrong with handset (apart from few scratches).
I could take (free contract) but I think my handset may not survive another 18 month.
I was looking for some deals (almost free or with something like desire / desire hd)
I think 2 companies are giving relatively good deals affordable mobiles and buymobilephones.net.
So far I dealt with dialaphone.com and never had any issue in last 6 years. but there deals these days are bit expensive.
I guess buymobilephones.net are OK (strict rules that you have to keep every bill collect them and send along with voucher). I can managed to follow (possibly) but they are small player and can go burst and my money is at risk.
Regarding affordable mobiles I read that they are very poor however the feedback was over 12-18 months old. I was wondering if anyone dealt with them recently? are they still poor?
also if anyone knows a deal to get desire under £15 a month with 300+ minutes and data or Desire Hd for under £18 a month then please let me know.
Thanks for reading

If you deal with Shebang (Affordable Mobiles) you need to make absolutely certain that you can PROVE you have complied fully with the t&c from day one. They are amateurish and likely to trip you up from day one. You can obtain payment but they are high risk - not just in terms of payment but they aren;t as big as the main players (neither is Buymobilephones, but at least they generally don't try to trip people up). I would only take someone to these dealers if they are fully aware of these risks.0

I used buymobilephones for my last phone, HTC Hero/G2 Touch 18 months ago.
I went for the 'autocashback' option after 3 months as didn't want to risk the redemption offer. The autocashback was paid no problem with no chasing required and delivery was quick.
My contract is up again, not sure who I will use this time but looks like Mobiles has cheaper contracts at the moment.0 -
Hi, over the last year I have had several auto cashback deals with E2Save,mobiles.co.uk and Buymobilephones.net and have not had any issues. I have never had any problems with Buymobilephones.net and the other two seem to have definately improved lately. Another to consider ( although slightly less cashback ) is www.mobilephonesdirect.co.uk who actually run the Nokia retail stores for them.0
