i've read on a thread somewhere that some Natwests have coin counting machines. how true is this & how can i find out which branches have them??

There are a fair few (e.g. Birmingham St Phillips Place)

Many supermarkets now have cash machines, but they count coins, and a give you a voucher to spend in store, for the value of your coins less X% for using the facility.0 -
No they credit the cash to your account in it's entirety, ie no commission deducted. Most, if not all, are only available to customers of the bank concerned.0

The coin counting machines, or Cash & Deposit Machines, (CDMs) are also ATMs, so as soon as you pay your coin in, they will pay it into your account, and you can draw the funds out - providing your account is within it's limit of course.Anything that I do say, is strictly my opinion
