im an incredibly unlucky person!! lol, do you mean the firmware? when i brought it it was 1.6 but i upgraded it to the 2.1. x0

Hello my mother has the same phone. it's a decent phone, it's a shame that sony ericsson have decided not to upgrade to android 2.2 after promising they would. Anyway we were having the same problem so I downloaded an app from the market called quick settings which gives an easy access to the main settings to switch off wifi, bluetooth etc. I also found switching the background data and syncing functions when not needed also increased the battery life.0
