Bribery - whoever told you that doesn't understand BR then. A person in a lot of debt would be bribeable, but once BR the debts are gone of course, so less need for the money than before.

there is a joint current account that has an overdraft that is outstanding last time i checked. unless he has paid it off (yeah right im dreaming that pigs are flying past my window!) and abby (or santander or however its spelt) have decided a year after i closed that joint account that we owe them 200 quid but no one can tell me what for or why they allowed the account to be close while there was an outstanding balance ive no idea. they gifted the whole 57p credit in the account to charity when i closed it!

with the co-op you can either set up DD's online OR over the phone...barclays however dont offer internet banking to bankrupts till your discharged

access to medical records and drugs in exchange for cash. meant bribery not blackmail - im too tired and im ill :(

whoever told you that knows diddly squat. No-one, not even the senior consultant can have access to controlled drugs on their own.

If I were you I would stop listening to gossipmongers, and give the NMC a ring - they will give you the accurate and up to date information. The trouble is with BR is everyone has an opinion, which is usually made up of urban myths and hearsay. Because of the situation we are in, we hear all this stuff, and cannot compute any of it. Consequently our brains get jumbled up, and we cannot sift the rubbish from the accurate info.

This site is absolutely marvelous for setting things into perspective - but in truth, when you are talking about some things, the only answer is to speak to the relevant authorities - in this case the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

good luck - I wish you well xxx

ah ha...it all becomes clear. These advisors, of course, know everything there is to know about everything!!

I do apologise to the few who actually do know what they are talking about, but so many people I know have been given very duff info from these people.
