Car Hire - Malaga Airport

Have been driving myself around in circles looking for the best car hire deal for 8 days in April

Does anybody know of any companies that hire out of Malaga Airport that DON'T charge you for a full tank of petrol

Ideally looking for a focus or golf from 8th - 16th April
picking up and dropping off at Malaga Airport

Want to pick it up and drop it off with a full tank of juice and not get ripped off for charges for fuel am not going to use

I've posted about this before - with little reponse - but we used Automotive booked through Carjet in malaga. We had to ask for them specifically as Carjet initially put us with Goldcar who I would not want to use again. you can also book automotive through bravocarhire. They are off airport near ikea but it's really easy to find on the way back and they give you a map. Our car had 3/4 of a tank and we had to return it with the same amount so you don't leave a deposit for the fuel. no hard sell on the tyres/windscreen either - in fact they just mentioned it in passing - but we took it out as it was only 3 euros a day.

We are travelling with a 5 year old so would prefer not to use an off site company

We have used this company twice this year, and thay have been a pleasure to deal with. Reasonable rates, car provided with a full tank of petrol and to be returned with full tank. (Credit card slip left for deposit, returned to us on return).

They are car hire brokers, and the car actually hired from Niza Cars. Their depot is about two minutes away by minibus, just off of the roundabout as you leave airport.

They recommend that you pay in sterling on arrival. Had no problems with this.

I would agree with on airport being a better arrangement in most cases but at Malaga off airport might be a more pleasant experience, probably more so with a 5 year old.

The car rental desks at Malaga always seem very busy and the underground car park is hot, dark and full of exhaust fumes, the cars are packed in so tightly it is far from a pleasant experience.

Contrast that with a leisurly stroll through the airport, a short ride in a minibus to the off-site parking lots, hopefully less crowded and in the open air, makes off airport a more pleasant start to your holiday.

Trouble is 99% of them charge for a full tank if its over 3 days rental

With www.malagacarhire.com you only pay for the petrol you use. Car supplied with full tank and you return with full tank. See post above.
