Hi and welcome
Have they mentioned anything about the Judicial Review?
This may be the reason on why they are holding back perhaps, contact them by phone and see what they have to say.
Good luck.

It's not your money yet, and it won't be until this grey cloud of judicial review blows over, the sun comes out and the refunds blossom again. Then we can all party down by the maple trees.hi

Hi, I've just started my claim with MBNA for Mis-sold PPI on a CC, they responded to my questionnaire very quickly and said they would deal with it within 28 days which is around 10th April. Reading posts on here I don't believe for one minute that will happen, but we shall see !!!
I will keep you posted0 -

They should write to you but it will probably to add further delays. MBNA have been one of the worst for putting ''complaints on hold'' because of the legal action thats taking place regarding PPI.
The FSA have told firms that its wrong to put all (or almost all) complaints on hold.
In my experience MBNA have put just about every PPI complaint on hold. They may issue refunds on very low value complaints so that if questioned by the FSA they can say 'we upheld x number of complaints'.
This seems like a blatant trick to skew the figures without having to refund very much.
MBNA sold some of the worst value PPI on both loans and credit cards. Most of their PPI was pretty much a scam (this isn't to say it was always mis-sold).
Although to give them (a little) credit they are usually quite quick to issue a refund, when they uphold a complaint.0 -
Well, Yes you guessed it ! 2 days before their 28 days with an answer, I've had a letter to say they need more time to investigate so they have now told me I will get a reply by 28th April !
I will keep you posted x0
