Whilst searching for a prepaid sim card for use in Ipad for travelling I came across Abroadband.com who offer :-
"MOBILE INTERNET AROUND THE WORLD - Mobile internet access while travelling:
One price: € 0,59/MB – everywhere
One world: surf the internet in over 50 countries
Now you can use your high-speed mobile internet anywhere in the world – at the low single price of just € 0.59/MB. With abroadband, mobile internet while travelling has never been this affordable – and you can be online anytime & anywhere! No more wasting your time looking for the nearest WLAN hotspot or internet caf!. And what’s more: surfing the web with abroadband is safe and your data is securely protected. When travelling, abroadband is the perfect solution for you!"
I intend to use it in Spain and the USA this year but can anybody explain to me it this is a reasonable cost as I am unsure what I will get for a MB?

I thought that looked interesting as well. However for known countries a local PAYG sim might be better.
In Spain Carrafour look good.
Try http://carrefour.es/telecom/internet-movil/bono_3gb.html
through Google Translate.
I recon you could use a few hundred MB in a month on an IPAD without trying too hard.
The trouble with the IPAD is the micro sim. You will have to be nifty with the snips if you get a deal that isn't intended for use with an IPAD.0 -
Last I knew when a mate went out to Barcelona was.....

I use a MasMovil sim card whilst in Spain . Its been brilliant all over spain and the Balearics . Really cheap and good speed
Something like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SPANISH-3G-SIM-CARD-15-CREDIT-SPAIN-/140520236095?pt=UK_Mobile_Home_Phones_Sim_Cards_CV&hash=item20b7a8a43f
