onestopphonestop or onestopnophonestock?

Placed an order for a deal for the Samsung D500 on T-Mobile Relax 100 (12month) back on the 4th Feb with online retailer http://www.onestopphoneshop.com/ Seemed the best deal for this phone at the time as it included 4months ½ price line rental @ £11.50 subsequent months @ £32.00, also a car charger, leather case and in-car holder.

Still without the mobile and knowing I could save £30 by recommending a friend I decided to change the contract on the 21st Feb to Relax 200 (12 months). Just found out my order has actually been cancelled, if I wanted that deal I would have to resubmit my online order and would be placed to the back of the D500 order queue. Probably the worst customer service I have ever received.

Would like to know if anyone has issues with onestopphoneshop? And who would they recommend in using as an alternative. I what this mobile on t-mobile ASAP.

thanks,
jnaimad :)

  • I had problems too and so did a friend I recommended, not a lot you can do, maybe ring them up and complain and they may gave you a slightly better offer, they seem to be offering the best deal at the moment on the D500

It's a popular phone and out of stock with several dealers, and even directly from some of the networks.

Patience. You can hardly blame them for you changing your mind on the contract

I'm just about to post off the bill copy for the first (4 month) cashback ...

    thegoon's advice doesn't look independent

why doesnt my advice look independent, you can expect delivery of this phone in 4 days, i have received mine today and clearly state that if you use the TOP link then it is direct to the phone, no referral at all just a link to the D500 on T-Mobile, I have had no problems with them in the past. Which is more than i can say for Onestopphoneshop, i Sent off a claim for cashback in december, i received the cheque last monday.

Also Mobileshop are giving £70 cashback as soon as you receive the phone now instead of waiting to claim for it. Search for their website on google as i wouldnt want to post a link and then be told that the information is not independent.

Your £20 doesn't buy independent advice.

Read the forum rules about posting referral links

  • Thanks for all your valuable replies. I have ordered the same deal with https://www.e2save.com and expect to receive the phone this Friday. - Great.

I would advice against using onestopphoneshop. The Customer services was appalling, rude and arrogant. Would have thought they would like the custom?

If you pay by Direct Debit, do you still get monthly bills in the post? T-Mobile have some good deals on Samsungs, but I'm worried about forgetting the cashback claims.

Have a look at Dial-a-Phone. They list many manufacturers but only seem to have Samsung at the mo, and I found the site via a link on Samsung's site so they should be bona-fide.
