I will give it another go. I have read all the comments here and mainly agree with them all. The thing that annoys me most though is that frugal people are portrayed as slightly bonkers old biddies or tight fisted g*ts who would rather live in muck than spend a couple of bob on a bar of soap. It is a huge pity that programme makers insist on using *real people* rather than PROPER real people iyswim!! You know, the sort of *real people* who appear on come dine with me, marriage sos, etc, etc. The *real people* who just want to get their face on telly. Can't someone do a proper frugal living series that will show people how to live within their means comfortably and sensibaly, rather than making it look like the only way to save money is to eat manky looking weeds and dye grotty underwear? BTW, nettle pasta is delicious and nothing like the disgusting pap her ladyship dished up!!0
