What about the cost of petrol to get from London to Torquay?

My words exactly I bet they spent the best part of £100.00 on fuel!! So that makes it £154.99 actually because if you are truly a scrimper you factor in your travelling costs as well.

Agree with Martin being more savvy to do this though and not only does he have the kerbside reel them in appeal but he also has the charisma to be able to put his point over.

  • *Recycled Format* When you discover Heather McGregor is a former Investment Banker with all the bad associations that has then it also becomes apparent why there are more 'ordinary' people involved.
I wonder if her PR Reputations Agency would think it might be a problem to us who are more aware?

I'm amazed at the lad doing a whole bag of potatoes. Three reasons:

    1. Use a potato peeler! Less skin and nutrients lost

    2. Use the peelings for a variety of things, such as veg stock.

    3. Pop an apple in the potato bag in the first place - keeps potatoes fresh for longer.

    Simples.
Do I need to do anything to the apple first (cut it?) I've tried storing my potatoes everywhere throughout my flat and they start sprouting so quickly, even bought an expensive potato bag from Lakeland, which doesn't help!

*Martin has People Power*, he is well known, he is trying in a an extremely hostile environment trying to fight for the Consumer.
Heather McGregor would be better off helping us outwit the Bankers and financially equip us to outrun, out save etc those little pieces of !!!!! who are forcing us to adopt Right Wing Austerity Measures making such Frugality an essential. (subject to one's own personal interpretation understood or not, worked in over time that is).

Would any Banker/s be up to that task? Max Keiser does his stuff on Russia Today and it is one big shocking expose of the selfish lawlessness of those allegedly in charge of investing etc OUR MONEY for OUR GOOD. Instead we hear a litany of selfish greed where our Financial Futures are being literally jettisoned in favour of High Paying Lifestyle and people playing dirty with Consumer Rights.

Just bung a whole apple in there. I did it as an experiment and left an apple in a bag of potatoes at Christmas. The bag has been in the cupboard since then and only one has sprouted so far. That was the potato the furthest away from the apple. The apple isn't rotten yet either, which I was surprised about. I've closed the bag with a clip so think that helps as well. Honestly, it's like magic :)
