I think my mate got accepted for barclaycard, Im sure he didnt even ask for payslips etc, maybe I should of bumped my salary up a bit more!

You should also be aware that if you alter your income between applications you will come into the scope of the delightful National Hunter peeps, you'll then be on their hit list and you can kiss any credit applications goodbye :p

I am on electoral roll at my address, I dont have high outstanding credit excluding mortgages, if it was high then it would reflect on my credit score and it would more likely give me a "poor" rating.

The credit reference agencies cannot possibly know if you have high levels of debt or credit compared to your income, as they don't know what your income is.
So any supposed rating/score that you pay experian for does not take this into account.

it is experian who class me as "good" and not far off "excellent" and would expect most lenders to provide me with credit.
Experien don't lend money and they can frnkly expect what they want, but it's meaningless.
You've paid for a meaningless number.
maybe I should of bumped my salary up a bit more!
I hope that was a tongue in cheek comment.
Making fraudulent applications is not going to help and could land you in serious trouble.

As others have stated you have missed payments so it's not as good as you appear to think.

I am not the one saying I have a good credit rating, it is experian who class me as "good" and not far off "excellent" and would expect most lenders to provide me with credit.

Unfortunately for you (and many others), Experian do not lend money or offer credit cards so the score they sell you is a complete waste of money.

Real lenders have their own individual scoring systems.

You need to knuckle down & get all your payments made on time. It will take time to rebuild your record.
Pay off as much as you can afford on the debt which has the highest interest rate.
