Uses for marshmallows?

I needed marshmallows for some rocky road for work and bought a huuuge tub of them for £1.49 from B&M. The catch being they are fairly short dated so I need to use the rest of them up!

I don't have any rice crispies to make cakes (loads of weetabix though:D) and there's far too many for me to drink that much hot chocolate.

Any ideas for uses please?

I would inore the date - they are essentially just sugar so very unlikely to go off. But if you are really worried you could just play fluffy bunny!

Hehe, they are mini marshmallows, I reckon I could get 100 in there!! :D ooh if I can ignore the date I might just hang on and get some cheapo rice crispies, I loooove squares :)
  • You can also warm them up till they are semi liquid, make normal cupcakes and use it as a frosting :)

u could break up the weetabix, melt chocolate over them and shape into nests and place a few marshmallow eggs in the middle... just intime for easter :) (shreddies is best, but weetabix does too)

Don't forget Rocky road too, there's a recipe for that on Nigella's site too. I use the cheapy cheap chocolate from the supermarket and the basic brand rich tea biscuits and they are always yum!

The best ever crispie squares are on smittenkitchen.com - made with burnt butter! OMG TDF and lots of other OTT acronyms!

They wouldn't last long enough to go in a recipe around here. You can post some to me if you still have any after these yummy recipes!
