can our pets love us?! Just a bit. Our dog Judy loves my mrs to bits...so much so that if she was a person she would be done for stalking!!!
My wife can't even go to the toilet without Judy (the dog) sitting outside the toilet door!

We all take it in turns to walk and feed her (only from her bowl)....but she is infatuated with the wife...

When anyone else comes home, Judy wags her tail at us, etc, but when the wife comes home, Judy goes absolutely berserk!! (and it's not encouraged!)

So much so that it reminds me of Greyfriars Bobby...I can see Judy sitting on the wife's grave if she ever passed away!!

BTW: Judy is a little Collie/Spaniel cross, very, very placid, and is a Rescue dog from the RSPCA.She's 4 years old, and we've had her for a year and a half! Couldn't have asked for a better pet!

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, she sounds GORGEOUS. Did you know her background when you got her?

We've got 3 cats. One is very affectionate, hates it if you have your back to him etc. His sister is very aloof, actually she is incredibly nervous and avoids human contact EXCEPT at night she will climb onto our bed and lick my husband's hair. Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice. The third cat is an absolute LOON, completely mad. Walks along the tops of roofs etc.

  • pknottm. My Westie is exactly the same with me, he follows me everywhere and cries when I'm not there. :(
I am quite sure in his doggy way he loves me.
  • We went away for two weeks last summmer and my Mum came down to look after the dogs.

Black dog was just so pleased to see us again, but Fat Bob had changed allegiances and whimpered like a loon when my Mum left.

We look the dogs out for a walk the following day and Fat Bob ran off and wouldn't come back  When she eventually did show her face she had the look of "What are you shouting for? You're not the boss of me anymore!"

Alot of shouting and a few well timed treats soon turned her around though. Far worse than kids.

You cannot live as I have lived an not end up like me.

Oi you lot - please :heart:GIVE BLOOD  - you never know when you and yours might need it back! 67 pints so far.

One hundred years from now it won't matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in the bank, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little better because, I was important in the life of a child.
  • When a cat will actually let go of a mouse that is trying to kick its way out of its mouth to come over for strokies when you call her name, it's love.

I have actually gone outside before and called Molly's name loudly and she has run across an entire field just to come over for cuddles.

    I love cats
It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.
