o2upgrade

Just wondering.....currently on I phone with o2 and my contract is up on 2nd April, can I upgrade my contract when I now have a CCJ?
I have been with o2 for many years, always paid my bill by dd on time etc,so will they let me upgrade?????
I actually want a new phone for my daughter, and this seems best way to do it as i cannot get a new contract anywhere.
Thanks

If your deal is up on 2nd April, why post here? Why not contact o2 and see what they say?

Regarding the CCJ issue, I was always of the impression that they re-search/re-assess your credit status when upgrading, but if you have paid your bills on time I dont see why they wouldn't allow you to upgrade.

Best ring them up, call 100 (option 2) from the phone.

As long as your current bill has been paid on time you will be able to upgrade.

If your last 3 months of bills have been paid on time they will allow you to add an additional contract phone onto your account. Worth knowing if you ever need another mobile and can't get credit.

That's correct, you can usually have up to 4 lines with O2 providing you pay your bills on time they wont require another credit check and there's no credit checks for upgrades.

My last 14 bills have been paid ontime and never late, and they declined me for an additional contract 2 weeks ago.

There is a credit check for all new lines and additional ones. There is no credit check for an upgrade.

I took out a 2nd contract in December and there was no credit check (I monitor my credit file), I was also informed there'd be no credit check, but I've paid every one of my bills on time via direct debit.
