Virgin media cancellation
dorm
Hello,
I cancelled my virgin media package around a month ago.
I've had no letters from them, confirmation or anything, even though i cancelled the direct debit too.
I have phoned them three times in the past month to ask for a confirmation letter but have not received one and don't know when exactly my services will be switched off or when they are sending someone around to pick up the box.
Has anyone got any advice?

I don't have any advice but I cancelled the TV last year and was told I had to post them the box. Several phone calls later and I received a cardboard box to post them the box a good 2 months after I'd cancelled.
A few weeks ago I cancelled the broadband and home phone with them and, like you, I've been promised cancellation letters, but all I've received has been marketing gumpf telling me that I shouldn't cancel cos Sky are even worse (I'm not switching to Sky!)
They should, however, tell you on the phone when your disconnection / last day is.0 -
Send an email to Neil Berkett, VM Chief Executive, at neil.berkett@virginmedia.co.uk and CC'd richard.branson@fly.virgin.com. It will then get sorted out.

This is pure genius.
Have rang them up again and they seem hopeless.
they say they will send a letter out... again, but will wait and see if it turns up... again, i think after that i'll have to write a written complaint.
FYI, i keep getting calls from their retentions team who just want to tell me how rubbish BT are :think:0
