Vodafone - Any Good Deals

I've managed to negotiate good deals for everyone else in the family as they are with O2 and Orange but for me I can't get what I call a good deal.

At the moment I am on 250 texts and 125 mins for £20 inc vat. My contract is up and I rang to negotiate, asked for 250 mins and 100 texts. I can have this but it will cost me £35 so I'm def not interested in that! They agreed that I do need the extra mins as bill has been high over last few months. I've asked for my PAC code but I've been with V'fone for several years now and been happy with them.

Just wondering if anyone has secured any good deals recently like O2 thread. Thanks.

I have the same problem with Vodaphone.
I'm on the same deal (125 min & 250 text for £20) that is due for a renewal in January, but phoned them to enquiry about available options.
I asked for either Samsung D900 or Motorola KAZR K1, but the gay told me that it would cost me extra £100 for any of these handsets. The phone he could offer for free was Nokia 6230i which I declined straight away.
He was not bothered when I told him that there are some very competitive offers on other networks for these phones(e.q Virgin Mobile:£25 for 12 months and after £20 a month with free phones for 300 minutes & 300 texts) and told me that they can't match it without looking into other options. He offered to connect me with a cancellation department in order to get PAC code which I found very unproffesional.
I'm dissapointed that I'll be leaving Vodaphone, as I have been happy with their overall service. But, I don't want to pay their rip-off price for a new contract.

I didn't even specify that I wanted a new phone - although I do as my battery keeps running out. I still haven't received my PAC code either:confused: . Like you I don't really want to leave them but if needs must............Only thing I can say is this is the same sort of scenario as last year when my contract was due. I thne received my PAC code and two days later received a call from V asking why I wanted to change. Told him that I needed a new deal and was offered the above.

I am going to call O2 as my sons are with them and the youngest's phone is in my name etc. Just going to see what they can offer me with a new phone - tha same "sons" tariff would be good - ever the optimist! :D:p
