  • Thanks getmore4less - yes Company 2 was not aware of the redundancies until AFTER we all signed over to them. I believe they tried to pull out of the contract, but it was too late!!
    I understand the ETO as I have been reading about it and this looks like where its going as I cannot see how they can just *get rid* so maybe the 2 companies involved are in Consultation with each other?

    It's not nice to be left in the dark like this and my staff are worried too.
    So simply put then, we could be offered *alternative* posts or made redundant? I myself have volunteered for redundancy over the last 2 years but been refused....I haven't said anything to the new company as we havent had any meetings as yet and I don't want to volunteer just yet!! ACAS have told me that any company DO NOT have to accept voluntary redundancies and that they can keep refusing me??
