Who needs an app?. Create a simple spreadsheet using Libreoffice or Excel and enter the data into that.

I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long

Because (assuming you already have an iphone of course) the app costs the princely sum of 69 pence! A lot of people don't have much else to do apparently :D

There's money saving and there's just being silly!

How much is the phone to go with the app?;)
I have a solar powered calculator that is over ten years old, and just by keying in a few numbers I can work out my fuel consumption (I can do it in my head, but it can be a bit tiresome).
  • As everyone else said, just always fill your tank to the brim when you fill up and reset your trip miles and every time you fill up you know your mpg. Been doing it for years. Save your receipts or log it in a notepad and you got a full record.

I believe that with the new iphone one can set a "verbal" reminders, to let you know when to relieve yourself too perhaps. I think it's called "taking the p***";)

That would be around ten minutes too late for me, and I would end up p*****g myself - when I gotta go, I gotta go:eek:

We know a whole family with the latest technology, they always talk about their Iphones, Ipods and "apps", when they come around to our place for a meal.
Just a pity that they cannot get an app to remind them to invite us over for a meal occasionally:mad:

Next time (if there is one!) they are round at yours, just ask them if they have a calendar app, and then ask them to set a date for their go there and then. That should be interesting

I just wish I'd been smart enough to realise people would actually be prepared to pay 69p for such a basic app! Whoever did is probably making a fair amount of money, for an extremely basic bit of code. I must try to come up with something equally trivial to cash in on...
