Well for the first time ive actually kept a log of what ive been spending on petrol, and known the *actual* mpg of my car... Ive found more fuel efficient ways to drive and can now work out journey costs to help budgeting. Also when we had that stupid panic buying I knew how far I could drive on a full tank, and could see what my odometer read at my last fill up so I could tell how much of a panic was required by me!

So all in all very useful. I cant put a figure on it but its helping sure.

Thanks for your interest, im sure it wasn't sarcastic at all ! :p

I can work out how far I can drive before buying fuel- all done with out an iphone or an app, it's called the fuel gauge. When it get to the bottom and a red light come on I fill up. God knows how some people coped in the past.....

I got my sister to download the iphone app and we tried it, My car actually used more fuel because of it.

Do i claim my compensation from the app's author, Apple or the OP? :D

I tried an Android app and it reduced my fuel consumption. :D

Is it because of the app or because my sisters a bit on the large side? :D

Who needs an app?. Create a simple spreadsheet using Libreoffice or Excel and enter the data into that.
