5 - Breeders in general annoy me - irrelavent I know, and likely to lower the value of my opinion, but I can not understand how breeding can be justified when there are so many unwanted animals in kennels!
We tried for months trying to get a rescue dog from our rescue centre but they would not let us adopt one because they were not suitable for our children for various reasons, jumpers, never lived with children etc. We ended up buying from a breeder in the end.0 -
I have just got a puppy from a breeder. I signed a contract to say that if I simply changed my mind, the breeder would take the pup back, and refund me the purchase price minus care costs, kennel costs and the difference between the price I paid and the price any consequent purchaser paid.
This seems reasonable from a business point of view, and maybe your friend should consider doing this in future if she continues to breed?
Of course there was not a chance in a million that puppy would be going back...Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0
