Cancelling Three Mobile Broadband - Help needed

Hello MSE. I am thinking about cancelling my Three Mobile Broadband 1 month contract (been on it for nearly a year - no problems there) in favour of getting Plusnet as they provide better value for money without resorting to a lengthy contract.
What confuses me is that I contacted the number on the site and the automated service answers are incredibly vague and I would like a bit of help in that department.
In addition, what are my rights if things go belly up and what are the conditions I need to adhere to when cancelling my contract.
Thanks for your response

Impossible to help without knowing the query!
Depends on the conditions of your contract - have you read the relevant parts?0
