When to buy flights to Boston for October

Highly unlikely you will get a fare around the £350 mark around a £150 of that is airport taxes for both the UK and US.
It is also the busiest period in month of October as that is the famous 'Fall' when all the coach/Car hire tours etc are on for the Autumn colours. The best time to get a decent fare would have been 3 months ago I'm afraid.
Wish you luck though.

More like £280 in taxes / fees. Was looking at getting my folks over a couple of weeks ago when the sales were on. Could have got MAN - CVG for £405. Of which £123 was the fare, and £282 the taxes / fees.0 -
In case anyone can benefit from this info in future, I made the wrong call booking when I did. My open-jaw ticket is still around the same price which is some comfort, but a plain LHR-BOS-LHR is now £330 with less than a month to go, or £310 for travelling via AMS. I know, I shouldn't have checked again after booking!0
