A well deserved neg i must say, if some fool sent me the wrong item i woulnt be best pleased

Christ how many thousands of parcels are you sending a day to get things mixed up.
Yes mistakes happen but you cant blame a buyer for you getting in a muddle, sending the wrong item then asking for it back before you send the one they wanted, that last point alone would get my back up.. really, some sellers dont live in the real world, why should the buyer be made to wait for your mistakes.0 -

We post out about 300 units a day, it is very rare we make a mistake. The buyer was not blamed we owned up to the fault as soon as we know about it and offered to rectify the situation to the buyers benefit. We paid return postage before it was returned. The only reason they had to wait was that we only had 1 of these items, we can't send something we don't have till the correct one was returned, which it was today. Total wait time 2 days. Correct item and goodies posted out today sent 1st class signed for so they should have it in the morning. Total wait time 3 days. I think that is good as we list a 3 day lead time. This was posted out the same day as paying. :TLifes a !!!!! and then you marry one:D0 -

So you never make a mistake? If you ask the buyer if they would mind you sorting it in a certain way, and they agree and still neg you, is that fair?
If you bought an item from an online webshop and they sent you the wrong thing, and then sent you the right thing, what would (or could) you do, other than taking your business elsewhere?
Honest mistakes get double the pain on Ebay; you lose money through extra postage costs, you lose potential future business, and then to top it off you get your reputation shredded to put off other buyers; all because of a human error.0 -

Quite right, you shouldn't be made to wait incorrectly. But did you read the OP's #13? Even though all this has happened it's still within 3 days!
I call that fantastic. The buyer wasn't out of pocket and most people don't mind repackaging something and posting it.
Most people not only understand but are very nice too. We're all human after all and even in business, generosity makes more rewards than haste.
Feedback is supposed to be a comment on the complete transaction and if there were any problems then it's also a comment on how well the seller handled things and sorted it out.
In this case the seller has handled it really well, actually. Couldn't have handled it better.
No-one's blaming the buyer! It's the fact that the buyer left a neg before giving the seller a chance!
That's so unfair!
Your comments seem very intolerant - have you never made a mistake?0
