Note from Board Guide (sra555): The email notifications you receive of new posts has changed. To explain why - and keep another thread on topic - I have just split this part of the thread off.
It all started when Trafalgar decided to delete this post...
AS SHE IS PERFECTLY ENTITLED TO DO:p
"
It's been seven hours and fifteen days
Since you took your love away
I go out every night and sleep all day
Since you took your love away
Since you've been gone I can do whatever I want
I can see whomever I choose
I can eat my dinner in a fancy restaurant
But nothing
I said nothing can take away these blues
'Cos nothing compares
Nothing compares to you "
ACTUALLY it's been 19 days..........................now can you think about changing the arms section,if not reinstating Discussions as a forum then renaming a part of it so we don't have
moneysaving arms ,moneysaving arms,moneysaving arms:rolleyes:

Just a word of caution about the email alerts. Because of the way law here stands it's not a good idea for a UK board to have it set so it sends the post contents in the email. If something is posted on the board which contains potential libel then the site owners would not only be technially publishing it on the board but would also be re-publishing it via email leaving them in a tricky situation legally.
The kind of information posted on a site like this has a greater potential than most to upset those with the funds to sue than most other boards I know of.
That said, as a journo I'm sure Martin has a good understanding of defamation law in new media and has found some kind of clever loophole. If he has I'd be interested to hear it as forum moderation is my profession so I try to keep on top of these things.0 -
