Get a site done professionally, it will pay for itself in the end and be worth the outlay.

Don't use Mr Site unless you want a template that has been used over and over again. There support is less than great.

Unfortuantely the world of web designers is a minefield. Make sure that you get signed agreements etc before parting with any money. Most will quote for the job and then also a quote for a "if this should happen" scenario. Things like you changing your mind halfway through the design.

EKM powershop cant recommend them enough for ecommerce £19.99 per month (inc hosting) with a sign up fee of around £65.

You can use one of their templates (which are easily tweaked) add your logo and start an ecommerce site in very little time with not much in the way of knowledge.

They are the biggest eCommerce store provider in the UK with over 5000 stores so they must do something right.

    Good luck

    Bargain of the century.....NOT!

What a rip off. £304.88 year one then £239.88 after that just for hosting.

Some people have more money than sense.

Horses for courses. This may be MSE but the only important thing (financially) is that it comfortably fits oldoakey's budget. I can't afford Jimmy Choos but I'm sure a lot of people are very happy with them. :)

Rather than sending a pm why not share your "experience" with other MSE users?

Yes I am sorry to say don't use mr site. I very nearly lost several jobs and one HUGE job because of their servers and their customer service consists of picking the phone up and putting it down again. I have been using heartinternet; so far so good.

    what will you be selling?
