Help kicking TalkTalk into action

I signed up with TalkTalk for a new line and phone and broadband at the beginning of this month. The only reason I chose them over Sky was because they guaranteed me installation on 15th March. This hasn't happened.
I have rung every day to see what's going on, but apparently they are waiting for BT OpenReach to do something. I know an engineer has already been to my house, he rang me whilst I was at work to check he had the right address (it's a new build with no house numbers at present).
Anyway, every time I call I get told the issue is being "escalated" to their back office team but I never hear back, or on the occasions I do I'm given an update and then never hear anything more.
I just want to talk to someone with a bit of common sense, or decency to chase something up for me. Anyone know how I get to someone with some power? I need internet soon, i.e. yesterday, I work from home and it's costing me big time.

I signed up to TalkTalk broadband and phone after the recommendation made on this site - WHAT A JOKE. They didn't bother to tell my old broadband provider so I now have two broadband providers, their call staff consistently tell me I'm on a different package and the broadband connection crashes repeatedly. I'm off back to O2. AVOID TALK TALK AND THE ADVICE GIVEN ON HERE.

Cancel and go to another company. It'll be less hastle.0

I had a similar problem when I signed up. Had to inform old provider myself. No major problems since though. Don't bother phoning them. Use the forum, and an OCE (expert) will sought things out a lot quicker.

if that does not work email ceo@bt.com stating TT are telling you its Openreach that is holding it up and you want your complaint against Openreach investigatedSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe

Try escalating to Dido Harding, TalkTalk Telecom Group Chief Executive, via sending an email to dido.harding@talktalkgroup.com.
Could also try sending an email to ian.livingston@bt.com, who is the BT Group CEO.
Good luck.0
