  • I have just been into my local Clinton cards and enquired about the offer starting next week and the lady said the offer is on from Monday but you need a £5 min spend on the gift card now.

Got my next gift card and £5 body shop voucher today. Thank you op. Agree that with the promotion instore only starting on monday that leaves short turn around to spend the voucher, but was a great deal for £1 spend.
  • After getting my voucher yesterday from Clinton Cards I went into Body Shop today and picked out a bundle thing for £25. They were pretty perplexed on receiving the voucher which made for another awkward few minutes. - Tumbleweed. She scanned the voucher and it didn't want to work....It said the voucher value was £0.00. Anyway they didn't make much of a fuss and just discounted the fiver anyway.

I didn't have any money on the gift card (because Clintons gave it to me without any minimum spend) so I didn't use it...

£20 is more than I wanted to pay for Mothering Sunday but she certainly deserves it.

Sorry but as a mothers day promotion this sucks if the voucher runs out on 3rd April......

I bet they don't have any products for £5 either so you (we) will end up topping up the spend...

Am I getting too cynical after months of constant BS offers......!!??

There are quite a few nice gift sets for a fiver....

    Why?
Isn't mothers day on the 3rd?
In which case why should the promotion run on afterwards?
Did I get the date wrong?

Thanks OP. My partner and I both ordered a £1 Arcadia gift card each with free delivery and both came today, so that's 2 x £5 vouchers to use this weekend :j

I saw lots of single items on the website (as well as the gifts) for £5 or less - small tubs of body scrub/moisturiser, shower gels and hemp hand/foot creams.
£1 or less - entry to Woburn Safari Park, pair of cargo shorts, men's desert boots, £5 book token, tree peony, 2 x tights, National trust entry (50p for 2) *1 night at Hoxton Hotel* :D + numerous freebies. Thanks MSE :T

UPDATE 23 March 16.55. Despite getting all details confirmed with it, Clinton Cards has changed its terms and conditions so you can no longer buy a £1 giftcard and get a £5 one free. Instead there is a minimum spend of £5, making the deal far worse.

If you buy a £5 Body Shop card, this effectively makes it 50% off, so it's not bad but it has been beaten before by group buying deals.
