spending money advice for tenerife

Hi there. My partner and I are going to Tenerife in May for a week - I haven't been on a foreign holiday for a while and am a bit out of touch so just wondering how much spending money roughly we will need.
We are staying bed and breakfast so will need to buy dinner each night, a snack at lunch and a few drinks each evening (we're not clubbers or big drinkers but like a few glasses of wine/cocktails.)
We'll probably spend most of the time on the beach and maybe visit the waterpark but probably won't go on any other excursions etc. We are vegetarians so won't be buying expensive meat/fish for dinner.
We are staying in costa adeje if that makes a difference. I was hoping about £500 for 2 of us would be enough.
Any thoughts welcome! Thanks for reading!

Hello
Use the moneychecker to make the most out of your sterling: http://travelmoney.moneysavingexpert.com/holiday-money/#results
£500 should get you 572 euros at the best rate
Does your budget include hotel transfers? if your transfers are not already arranged you will need to consider the cost too approx 25-30 euros if I remember rightly.
Its difficult to say whether that will be enough etc, I find the prices in Europe not much cheaper than the UK. I always try and take a bit extra if I can or have a credit card for emergencies.
A tip would be find a supermarket and stock up on water, snacks, wine etc which will help your budget. I always find that if I have a decent breakfast then I don't want much when it comes to lunch
Hope you have a great holiday0 -
Why don't you take some extra British money with you which you can covert if you need to? From what I've read, exchange rates are pretty good on the island.
I was in Costa Adeje last year and am going back in a couple of weeks - the supermarkets are pretty cheap and last year the restaurants had quite a few deals.0
