To be honest 3 months is a long time so I wouldn't chase the seller.
It might be worth posting in the techie section they may be able to help.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

So no, not the same.0 -
the seller is not liable at all, specially after 3 months. You've just bought a phone that has broken during normal use. Just like you'd buy a second hand car and 3 months down the line something goes wrong with it.0

The "keypad" is also defective.
No capital letters, punctuation marks or spelling correction by the looks of it.0 -

yah, I did see that halfway through posting and thought I'd got it in time, but alas no.

I'd not contact a seller if an item I bought broke 3 months later. Unless it was in warranty, and even then just to see if they could give me details of where they got it in case the company asked for them.
Have you tried tiny umbrella to boot it from recovery mode?Sigless0 -
End of November is actually almost four months ago - it is almost the end of March now. The i-phone wasn't new when purchased, it was second hand. The seller certainly isn't liable after all this time, either under e-bay rules or legally.
However, it *might* be worth contacting the seller if they are doing refurbs, as they may know enough about the i-phone to advise on how to rectify the problem.I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -
If it's a business seller of these phones. you couldn't be more wrong. All of you.
A reasonable expensive mobile should be expected to last years if there was no inherent fault. So the seller is legally responsible. If they are a business of course.0 -

So businesses have to offer unlimited warrenties on used goods.
Yes if it broke in 2 weeks I would say chase them, but in 3 months a lot can happen to a phone.
It appears it maybe fixable with the correct knowledge anyway.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017
