We used an excellent tailor right next to the Shangri La hotel. They are made on the premises.
My OH got clothes made in Singapore and they were far inferior to this tailor's clothes.

I had a load of shirts made at Ambassador Fashion last year, as recommended by researcher's post above. Shirts are a fantastic quality, great material and fit my mate also had suits made there and these are also very good.

I would say if you only got 3 days in Bangkok get to the tailor early on the first day to get the initial process out of the way also beforehand have a good think about what you want i.e. how many suits, what style e.g. double breast, single breast etc think of colours even maybe take a pull out from magazines like GQ to imitate. Also think how much your willing to pay dont be oversold and dont fall for all the 'yarn' about these are the best fabrics in thailand yadda yadda.
  • The lonely planet thread linked above is the best read on this you will have anywhere. If you seriously care about what you're getting, be sure to read all 25+ pages of it before going!!!

I would personally say 3 days is not enough to be sure the suit will be how you want it. And I specifically wouldn't advise getting a DJ made there.
