Got the console and was waiting for the games to come back into stock, got 2 months to claim them.....

As both the xbox & games are no longer available on their website am I right in thinking that there is no chance of getting hold of the free games from Argos now?

Is it worth going into the store and seeing what they can do?

Still can't really complain more than happy with the console for £50! very cheap media player...

I think as you've bought the console you should be able to get the games from any store you can find them. Maybe a little time checking stock at various stores on their website will get you hooked up. Good luck

Unfortunately you cannot find the games or indeed the xbox on their website.

They are no longer available, I will have to take a trip down to an Argos store and find out what they say.

Been to the store and they advised me that there was not much chance of getting hold of the free games, was advised that I could give back the xbox if I wished and get the £49 refunded!

Not sure if talking to the manager would get me anywhere, any ideas?

tbh the deal was free games, there was nothing about while stocks last etc, so ring c/s on the phone and see if you might get a voucher or something offer to send the recipt to prove you havent got the games etc end of the day its worth trying.

I phoned store support to ask if there was anything that we can offer the customer as a substitute as the stores that do have any left are extremely few and far between, but was told that it was a free offer at the time and free offers from suppliers are subject to availability so therefore nothing we could do, gentleman was really nice and said fine was happy with the Xbox for the money anyway.

this is embarrasing , I knw it's been asked a million times before,there have been soo many answers, am confused now , could sombody please point me to a sucessfully tried tutorial on how to softmod an xbox ? any advise would be gratefully received
