They had loads behind the collections desk when I picked mine up today. The lady who served me said they'd had a delivery this morning. I asked when the offer was running out because the dealines on the website of the 24/12 and 29/11 weren't very clear. She said it's the 24/12 and that they were expecting another delivery next week and "we've loads to get rid of".

Who knows, they might be even cheaper after x-mas!

Possibly, but I checked stock on an item last week and it said it was In Stock, when I proceeded to reserve it said No Stock, so I kept trying and eventually managed to reserve it.

I never take the checkers word for it and try a few times, it usually pays off.

Ordered online again, managed to get the console but it told me at the end that the games were out of stock

have rung up and someone's going to ring me back tomorrow to tell me when they'll send the games out, so result!

Just thought I'd let you know thanks to Argos's error saying mine was in stock on Saturday and it wasn't I effectively got mine including the games for £40 thanks to the gift card promotion which wasn't originally on when I booked mine.

Bought £50 gift card - received £5 gift card from Argos.

Used £50 gift card to pay for xbox & games - received another £5 gift card from Argos.

Ok I did buy the gift card from a different Argos from where I purchased xbox / games as there is two in Dundee but nowt to stop others from trying it even if you wait an hour or so after buying the gift card before picking up the xbox / games if your worried.

I know they are not supposed to issue the £5 gift cards when purchasing gift cards but I asked chancing my luck and the girl went and checked and said yes it was ok. You get a choice of 3 different gift cards with the £5 one and they are valid up to February if this helps anyone.
