i have recently after being in a very stressfull (and panicked) situation been completely ripped off by loans gogo. And i hope to god the director who commented on this thread reads this. After being stupid enough to cough up the money, i started feeling a little suspicious and did some research.
It was implied to me on the phone that they were a lender and not a broker.
I was rushed in to ticking all of the acceptance boxes on an email (without being given a chance to read stuff) stupid of me i know.
Then i get pretty much harrased by people offering me loans which are not suitable for my needs, ie needing a guarantor or a payday loan.
I then get a further phonecall from loan gogo trying to take payment from me again. I wasn't so foolish this time.
After being totally disgusted with the was i was duped i decided to email them and ask for a full refund due to not being happy with the services and the way things were explained.
I have since recieved a string of emails from loan gogo that contained nothing but attitude towards me telling me that they think their service is satisfactory and that they didn't want to refund my money. I will continue to fight for this.

Has anybody else actually managed to get a refund from them?

Firstly I would send written confirmation of the requirement to cancel your agreement with them. You need to clearly outline why you want to cancel and if you are aware they have broke anything they have told you, mis sold the product or breached any trading standards legislation. From my first hand knowledge of this company I would say all of the above.

If you have been able to do this within the set out "cooling off period" of the contract then you should be home and dry as they have a legal obligation to refund all money paid to you on the basis they have not provided you with any service.

Secondly I would be contacting Trading Standards in Nottingham, what they are doing is by no means legitimate. I have contacted this company and have gone through there process. They lied on several occassions by making promises that I have already been approved for a loan and all I had to do was sign some documents.

I am sure it may be a sturggle for you but I think if you do the right things and contact the right people you will get your money back. Please feel free to contact me should you need any help.

    Good luck

I think Apple should invent a special device for all of those falling victim to this.

The Apple Ipaid - Some kind of really loud alarm clock with a big sucker on the back.

These people are not filth of the country, scam loan companies are a very good buisness who pray on muppets across the country in believing they can get a loan after they have screwed their lenders over.
