Loan GoGo??

Hi

Just looking a bit of advice. I was recently scammed by YES loans and currently fighting to get my money back. I am in need of some money and got a call from a compnay called Loan GoGo, their parent company is Davenport Black LTD. They are offering me the money but as per usual, need £59.99 charge, I did say to the guy that this seems too easy and explained that I had already been through this before with YES loans. I asked if the companies who were willing to lend me the money had credit checked me(I have had bad credit in the past, which is why my bank refuse to help me even though I pay my bills now!!) and he said that they had and were willing to lend me the money. I just wondered had anyone heard of this company as there are no reviews online??

Thanks

It's another scam. Thought you would have learned your lesson the first time. :)

The important thing to remember about getting a loan is that the loan company gives you money at the beginning of the contract. Not the other way around.

Apparently, according to their website, 'applicants can also apply.' I have no idea what that means.

OP, they want *your* money to talk to some lenders who may or may not offer you some or all of the money you want at an interest rate which may or may not work for you. Does that really sound like a good idea?

They are the same as YES loans - a broker that seeks out other companies to loan money to you with no guarantee of any loan being offered. I don't know how you think the companies have already credit checked you - unless, of course, you've already applied for the loan.

I'm not trying to be harsh here, but learn your lesson. Any company asking for money upfront is not a loan company. They are a broker who may or may not be able to help you. And if you speak to anyone at those companies, of course they're going to tell you what you want to hear - because they want your cash. They're not going to say to you "yes, we're a scam". Don't touch them with a bargepole.

Gogo somewhere else! (See what I did, there?)

Just taken a look at the website :eek::eek:

The applicant must meet the following criteria to obtain an online unsecured loan:
·> You should be above 18 years of age
·> You should be a UK resident
·> Have sound mind and competent to contract
·> Homeowners or tenants - both are eligible for unsecured loans
·> People with low credit rating are also eligible

Thank god a 12 year old from a Rumanian mental institution isn't able to apply for one of their loans

Anyone else think https://www.unsecuredloannow.co.uk/terms.asp have a familiar looking website??

Top marks twinkle for asking the question first, over 90% of people only ask after already signing up.

They don't even try to fool anyone like the normal brokers.
    :IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Davenport Black Ltd generates online leads and works in the capacity of an ‘Introducer’ only. It is engaged only in the business of assisting people to avail loan through authorised Lenders and/or Brokers. In the service process, we merely collect the loan application of persons interested in availing loan and thereafter transfer the details to brokers or lenders, who may or may not provide the loan to the applicant. Once the details of the applicant are forwarded to the lender or the broker as the case may be, Davenport Black Ltd’s role comes to an end.
