Hi Moozie - good to see you back and firmly in control.
I'm trying to go for a non-spend day again today, but I'm not 100% sure, so I'll post later.
I didn't post for Wednesday, as I was in Manchester, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well I did - My wife had filled the car with petrol, so I didn't need to buy any although it was on the warning light by the time we got home (2 am so no petrol stations open  ).
In the afternoon, we were treated:rolleyes: to a walk around Manchester City Centre, which consists solely of ladies' fashion shops, meaning that I spent nothing and all that my wife and daughter spent was time. We did look at the Christmas Market, by the Town Hall, which was very nice, but expensive - it was mostly German and we did have some great 'Bratwurst' hot dogs and a glass of German Pils, as a late lunch - Total £9.00.
Most expensive was parking   up to 4 hours, on a manky building site car park by Canal Street £5.00   I did try to negociate, but they were having none of it.
In the evening we went for a Pizza, in Didsbury - 2 huge pizzas, between 3 of us and a glass of beer - £20.00.
We were 'spared' the normal supermarket trip, but my wife had taken two big bags of 'provisions' so even my daughter would have felt guilty about making us spend even more.:D
So - total spend on Wednesday was £34.00 - I did ask for the deeds of the part of the car park that I had paid for, but, as they say, 'some fell on stony ground.' :beer:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. Hello Moozie  hello everyone!
Oh am I glad its Friday or what? Seems like the longest week ever, and I just didn't know whether to drive or canoe into work this morning, what with it bucketing down.
Like being in a car wash
As for what I've spent today - nothing so far. I have to post more Ebay parcels (postage is paid so that don't count) and there's nothing I really need from the shops.
Have a good days everyone and I'll catch up probably with you all later....:T

Glad I helped a little bit
You are definitely right on toasting on our achievemnts - DFW is rocking at the moment, full of good vibes! :T
Now, put the magnum away until I visit! :rotfl:Leason learnt :beer:0 -
So far today I've spent £1 on a hash brown sandwich from the canteen. They only cook hash browns on a Friday so it is a weekly 'treat'. Obviously completely awful in terms of trying to lose weight, but we have to have some vices. :rotfl:
I'm having a quick drink after work with the gang, but will be cautious and not spend too much, have £20 in my purse but want to hang on to as much as pos, will update you over the weekend.
Planning on planning my meals for next week, this weekend, and doing a proper grocery shop. Hopefully will come in under £20 but do need to get store cupboard items for the long haul, e.g. flour, spices, etc. Won't have any other spends for the weekend. If groceries work out, every day next week should be a no spend day, apart from my weekly bus ticket which is budgeted for. :T"Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it." Hi everyone, glad to see you're fine Moozie.
Today I had to buy some "booze" as nothing in. My friend is coming up tonight, she's a bit bored as her boyfriend is going out. So, I spent £11.50. But thats still cheaper than if I was going out tomorrow, as the taxi home is double that. I have spent quite a bit this week, but its been on things which I wouldnt normally have to spend out on. I think next week will be better. Have a good day everyone. x0
