i have thought about going payg, could go from 30 to £10 a month and actually going payg is nowhere near as bad as it used to be.

Am confused as to why you "obviously now feel the need for an iphone". If you don't use all your minutes and texts and are happy with your net access, why not save some money and downgrade? use the savings to put towards an I-Touch (when the next one comes out) instead of paying over the odds for an I-Phone (£35 a month over 2 years is £840. I'm sure you could downgrade and get an I-touch for that and have change for itunes!).

What sort of needs do you have? just talk and text or are you looking for additional extras?

i dont really need any minuites and really texts are quite minimal lol dont really need one do i ...i mean a phone at all! but i have kind of bought into this whole "apple" thing now! i have the current i-touch which is fab! just the lack of general internet access is a downer on it hense the i-phone. i have however seen a contract for £15 for a htc wildfire i currently have a htc touch 2. i think this is a step up and andriod which s good and halves my contract!

Wait till June as 3 months is a long time in technology land - Orange & T-Mobile will have launched FREE 3G roaming on each others networks (as now but only 2G) - this will help you play Orange plans & T-Mobile plans off each other calling retentions ;)
SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)
  • I phoned T mobile this week to change to payg. I was paying £15 a month for 100 mins and 100 texts but my bills were double cos they charge for accessing voicemail and for texts to Egypt (daily cos OH is there).

By the end of the conversation, they had offered me:
    1) same mins and text
    2) One hour talk time per month to Egypt - Yea! I'd rather talk than text! (this alone is worth £60 to me compared to my landline - although mostly I skype but this not possible during recent protests)
    3) Internet
    4) Galaxy Apollo android handset

    For...£5 a month. :T

So give them a try and see what they offer you. x

4.08-5.11p/min from a landline to a landline is easily available (11.5p connection).
    4.08*60=£3ish, far less than £60
