I did not apply for a card I have had one witht hem for a while now.
But I needed a new card as my old one was not working,It now says I have a clarity card and not the normal cc I had beforeOwing on CC £00.00 :j

Over the last coupla weeks, my (and my wife's) Clarity cards have had their descriptions changed, on Internet Banking, from Clarity to "Introductory MasterCard" (or something similar) then back to Clarity & now (when I last looked) they're both described as "Standard MasterCards". Still seem to be getting the Clarity benefits (£5 per month Reward, f'r'instance) though, fingers crossed. I think it's something to do with going over to Lloyds banking systems.Expect the worst & hope for the best...0

Our Clarity Cards were always listed as "Standard Mastercard". After the changeover they became "Introductory Standard Mastercard" for several days. Then they suddely changed to "Clarity", but only for a few hours, and now are back to the original "Standard Mastercard".0

Same here...guess it'll 'settle down' once both systems are merged in earnest.0
