It's not a branch as per my previous post. It's the Natwest Direct business sort code. It has a PO Box address, so is probably just a call centre. Accounts with this sort code are managed mainly by phone or online, which is why it doesn't have a proper branch sort code.

The sort code 60 24 77 is Natwest Direct Business banking. These accounts are managed by a team in Hornchurch and are I believe in the process of being transfered to a center in Wimbledon. As far as I'm aware these accounts are not being sold to Santander business banking and will remain in place for NatWest customers.

More information can be derived from calling natwest and requesting to speak with the relationship team in hornchurch/wimbledon

"What seems to have slipped under the radar is that NatWest Direct Business Banking has been flogged to Santander, so everyone who currently enjoys the excellent NW service is in for a nasty surprise unless they bail. We've just opened branch-based business accounts with NW...£

In this case I would advise DBB customers to contact thier Relationship Manager to put their mind at rest!

My sort code begins 60 and my branch isn't being sold. So that's wrong

There is a list here of everything being sold WWW.rbs.com/media/news/press-releases/2010-press-releases/2010-08-04-sale-of-branches.ashx

It has nothing to do with sort codes, but yes, it looks like direct business banking is being sold, so best move your account now to a branch that isn't
