Transfering ISAs during fixed rate period

Hi,

Is it possible to transfer an existing *fixed rate* ISA to another (say, fixed rate) provider actually during the fixed rate period?

I've just noticed that I could achieve a better interest rate if it is possible to transfer my existing fixed rate ISA to another fixed rate.

I've transferred ISAs bfeore, although only when the fixed deal has ended (i.e. not during the fixed rate period).

Hope this makes sense!

Thanks.

Yes, but you would have to pay a penalty for closing the existing account early.

The size of the penalty would be in your T&Cs.
