Anyone Else Have Problems With Quickwise Surveys??

  • QuiickWise used to inform me of surveys by txt too, but dont remember ever seeing a charge on my fone bill. Funny how the "drop the 1st character of your username" works eh? a cynic might suggest it had been done on purpose...i suppose all those small balances of people who try to login but cant then give up, would sure mount up!

i for one am gonna try to get my measly (but still mine!!) £24 out and un-enrole. i'll let you know what happens.
  • just logged in to withdraw my money.....no amazon voucher option anymore!!!
asking for bank account number and sort code via an unsecure webpage...no https or "locked" icon in the browser window.

    Hi again,
Last time I got money from quickwise I didn't ever have amazon voucher offer.Just cheque-with a £2 deduction for handling costs, direct into bank account or donate to charity.
So opinionbar are showing my bank details from last time.Ordered payment and account now showing
    earned £12.00
    payment order£12.00
    Balance £0.00
Clicking on payment order shows up as
Status- in behandeling sinds 2.12.2006 (exact spellings)
Also any words after opinionbar .co.uk are german
  • previously only redeemed Quickwise payments in Amazon vouchers so maybe they dont have my bank account details....can remember whether i gave them to Quickwise when i joined or not. still disinclined to give my account details via an insecure link. silverfairy, please let us know if you receive your payment...in German or otherwise!!

Have had money transferred into bank account today from opinionbar.
Also had an update of interests survey on Friday and got paid 5p for that.
They were already holding my account details from Quickwise but as it is only account no. and sort code you should be ok to give them.
    hope you get yours sorted.
  • This was a bit of a shock to me reading these emails, Ive got £25 in quickwise, have been with them for years, just where have they gone too, i have already been doing suveys for opinion bar, so i will have lost my money, could someone please advise on what to do thanks
  • poppe-t, your QuckWise account should have been transfered to Opinionbar. When you log in to Opinionbar, are you using the same login details you used for QuickWise? If not, try it but omit the 1st character of your username. Your balance should still be there.
  • I too had an account with Quickwise and tried to redeem my money for Christmas, only to find there was no way to do this. I have had no notification that my account has been moved - indeed the first I knew about all of this was being redirected to Opinion Bar when I tried getting into Quickwise. As far as I remember my login was my mobile phone number not a name and I have tried to login with this (with and without the first number) and get nowhere. I don't know if the fact that I was already a member of opinion bar has anything to do with my difficulties. I note that there seems to be no contact us link on their site (unlike most good sites). Furthermore I have been signed up with Opinion Bar for at least a year and have a total earning of 10 pence! It's hardly the £1 a survey I was getting from Quickwise (occasionally I only answered one question and still got £1). There is a whole list of well paying surveys showing on the site but no way for me to participate in any of them. I'd like to be able to get the money owed me from Quickwise and then terminate my membership as I really don't see it being worth my while.

Had an e.mail from opinionbar on 13th Dec explaining how they work, pay out on 1st mon of month etc. They have no support by telephone but give
supportUK@opinionbar.com as their helpdesk for any concerns or queries.Questions sent to any other address can not be answered.
It seems to be the 0 part of the mobile phone no which was causing them the problems. They have sent me my login details which is my mobile no apart from the first O
  • silverfairy, try entering your username first with the 1st digit, then click on forgot password link. Then do the same but omit the 1st digit and click forgotten password link again. Check your emails then for a reply to either of your login attempts. Hope this helps.
