Anyone Else Have Problems With Quickwise Surveys??

I've been filling out surveys with quickwise since 2004 and have accumulated quite a bit. 12 days ago I my 1st request for payment. Today I received an email saying quickwise have now merged with MetrixLab OpinionBar panel and my account has been moved. They say my username and password will be the same. When I try to log into the website link they sent me my details don't exist!
I'm sure something fishy is going on and they just don't want to pay me for all the time ive given them in the past 2 years! The only contact you can make with them is by writing or dialling an 0870 number...so just beware...I think they're a con.

I have had the same email and am unable to login.
I have sent an email to their support team to ask what is going on.
May be just a change over glitch.
Their email is support@opinionbar.com0 -
had the same problems with QuickWise too. not heard from them for a bit so logged on to get my £24 out in Amazon vouchers for Xmas. All pages on site accessible....apart from the one where you ask for payment! This page tells you that they've merged with Opinionbar.com and to go to that site and login with your Quickwise details. did so, but wont let you in.
emailed quickwise twice, opinionbar twice and even someone at MatrixLab (?) who purportedly own Opinionbar. heard sod all.
Whats the phone number you have there for them please SambaRamba? i'll try to get thru.0 -
does anyone know when the merger took place ?, I just logged onto quickwise and everything seemed ok, I dont have enough points to cash in at the moment, I had a voucher off them at the end of august if its any help.0

hi scarlett
dunno when merger took place but Quickwise site says that existing members will be automatically redirected to Opinionbar as of 24th November and will be able to log in with their existing username/password....neither of which are true a week after the advertised change over. still had no reply to my various emails.0 -
HI.
had invite to a survey last night from opinionbar about banking.Had to log in via link to my personal survey overview page.My quickwise details and current £12 were showing.
Started survey and after 2nd question re which banks/bldg socs I had dealings with, got message to say couldn't proceed and would get 10p credited to my account.(I could only tick 2 out of the 15 shown, so maybe didn't pick the one they were interested in).
However I still cannot log in via the links sent by quickwise-says not a valid registration. Can get in via e.mail link so have requested my payment of £12 to bank account. These details were already filled in so they have had access to our quickwise accounts.
Also just noticed log in shows as opinionbar.com.uk/onderzoeken0 -
unable to get into Opinionbar and still no replies to my emails.....decided to click on "Forgotten Password" link again. Lo and behold, i receive an automated reply with my password and login name...but the first character was missing from my login name!!! hence my being thrown out everytime i tried to login! suggest the rest of you try it....use your Quickwise details but omit the first character. now im in, and i might say that my balance and survey history seem correct, so i'll play about with it and see if it pays out.0

You may want to read this, not sure if it is current.

Was anybody being charged unknowingly for text messages?0 -
ok I found this. You may all be being ripped off.
http://www.quickwise.co.uk/For each surveys, consumers are selected from our online panel (selected randomly and they can also be filtered on our client's target market). Contact is then made via mobile phone (text message) and the Internet (email message) directing respondents to the questionnaire (where they can view the packaging, advertisements, TV ads etc). Using this technique, our clients are able to get solid feedback the very same day to aid their decisive decisions.0 -
Got text messages from quickwise for surveys but was never charged, always checked balance after texts as only keep a very small balance on phone (£5can last over 3 months). However only received e.mail alert on Fri from opinionbar not both as in the past.0
