I haven't left any feedback yet, I want to dwell on it for a while and then leave something appropriate to warn other buyers. I am leaning towards a neg though purely because he accused me of being a scammer.

That's the odd thing, he hasn't even sent a mutual through, however it is a low value item so maybe he is writing off the FVFs?

But he really has no clue as to how Ebay works, so this shouldn't be a surprise

He has almost 200 feedback and is an unregistered business seller, but out of th eblue his feedback has dropped to 97.6% as he's got a neg for not supplying the item shown in the photo. He has replied saying it was a stock photo and buyer should read the description.

I admire your self-control Soolin - I suspect most of us would have gone straight for a big red neg, after reading that in our inboxes ...and used the 80 characters available for a comment to tell the world about their antics.

Whilst I know they would do nothing, I think I would still gain some additional satisfaction from passing on the patently untrue comments and claims to ebay.

It sometimes amazes me when a chancer thinks they can pull the wool over someone's eyes and claim that ebay are 'on their side', even though they are clearly dealing with someone with a large feedback score, who has had an account for years and clearly know how ebay works! :rotfl:

I'm not good at feedback so want to try out a few choice phrases to get maximum inpact. I suspect that if I now leave a neg, mine coupled with the one left yesterday may well wipe him out and that does make me feel a littl ebit guilty.
