Orange Sim not activating?

Switching two phones from orange pay monthly to pay as you go. Recieved the new sims on 10th of march, which will be 2 weeks ago on thursday. Keeping our old numbers.

Several phonecalls to orange:
1st phone call to orange - put sim in and it will work straight away
2nd phone call - will activate 2-24 hours
3rd - 24-48 hours
4th - 48 hours
5th - 24-48 hours

The time has now passed since the last phonecall and still not activated. Has anyone else experienced problems like this recently? On the last phonecall they claimed it was a global problem they are having.

    Sounds like a provisioning issue. They need to raise it with network support to see what's happened. Or just send you out a new sim and start again (which might be the quicker option!).

    Sorry to hear you've been waiting for so long for your SIM cards to activate. As Jon 01 suggests, if you contact our Customer Service Helpdesk they should be able to log this with our support teams, if they have not done so already.
