It's really annoying when people do that. Did they give a reason?
Well, by 9 weeks they still hadn't had a survey done - we told our EA that we were a bit cheesed off that the buyers were taking so long, and if they didn't pull their finger out we were thinking of putting it back on the market, next thing I know they've pulled out saying they've decided they can't afford it.My sig's too large, apparently - so apologies to whoever's space I was taking up.:lipsrseal0 -

Similar experience to me then by the sound of it. What particularly annoyed me was the EA's complete lack of communication. My buyers were using the EA's in-house mortgage salesman so I can't believe they didn't know that no progress was being made.0 -
In case anybody's interested....
Three more viewings today, one of which was a timewaster, one FTB couple who decided they couldn't afford it and one property developer.
The developer had originally offered £135K when it first went on the market six weeks ago but has now offered offered £141K. I've told the EA I would like to clear £140K after paying their fees but will probably accept £141K if he won't budge. I am assured he has the finance in place and will exchange and complete quickly.0 -
good lucxk mate, hope this one works out for you
fingers crossed eh? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Thanks lynzpower!
The interesting thing is that it went to an investor and will no doubt end up being rented out. No FTBers could afford it (or were prepared to go without central heating and a new kitchen until they could afford them)0
