Gotch, gotcha :0) I will be able to track the template down tonight and have it drafted and sent recorded tomorrow. They will have it by Tuesday.

How long do these lot usually lean on people before pressing for a county cap with the courts? Do you think they have mentioned Northampton Court because I have a CCJ issued by them back in the day and its showing on my credit report? A case of 'well you have one (a CCJ) from there already, this is the court that gave you one last time, they will again you naughty boy'.

HFO have only been writing to me for about 2-3 weeks, tops.

    No.

It's because Northampton has the county court bulk claim centre. In other words, most county court claims from DCAs, mainline creditors, small claims entered online etc go through there for their initial issue. It's got nothing to do with your previous CCJ.

How long until they actually go to court? Who knows..... probably much longer than they would like you to believe though... if ever...

    Good morning all,

Many thanks for all who helped yesterday. I have sent request of Credit Agreement and 'Prove it' letter to HFO.

    But...... can you believe this????

Going through their correspondence I found, at the back of an Experian report they sent me, AN AERIAL VIEW of my house!!!!!!!!

This is such a blatant 'we know where you live' threat!! I can't believe it!

If I owned this property rather than rent it I'd have been beside my self with worry. Especially as it has current market values etc also detailed on the sheet.

Can they get away with this??

What is the current situation with the debt? Have HFO written to you asking for payment? have you responded at all yet? if you have written to them what letters have you sent?
    [/STRIKE]

Have you sent the prove it letter neil?

Thats the first course of action. It doesn't admit your liability for the debt but does mean they need to provide proof that the debt exists and they have a right to collect it.

    Hi. :)

I've merged this with your previous thread, as otherwise people will be going over the same ground again and won't see the background already posted.
