I'm in this week too - thanks to all at FCC.

Any remedies for a sore throat? It really hurts when I swallow.

I used to work at boots and the pharmacy counters recommendation was gargling with soluble painkillers and then swallowing them - soluble paracetamol works a treat when I'm suffering......

I'm in - glad it's the LR - I cut OH's hair this evening so I will want to give it a thorough going over...

    I'm in!

Lost me the last part of last week, between descending into a bit of a pit and helping my bezzie mate move house, I neglected our house.

And OMG cant you ever tell! 2 days off and
Even DH could see it and we've spent part of the weekend cleaning up :(

Ahh well - this week is a new week and I'm gonna sort out this mess! (Cos next weekend I'm volunteering at our local wildlife place and need to visit me dad)

Sooo then, did I miss anything?

Hi all, a newbie here x
I have been following the thread and doing level 1 for the last couple of weeks, so now I'm joining in and aiming for at least level 2. The house already looks much better and I feel a lot better in return x

Well I'm here on Sunday evening, saw the thread - It's fate! I'm in.

Want to manage level 3 and I have a desperate need to dot-to-dot my dressing table, which is large and covered in post/files/bits of paper/dusty bottles and tubes. Also dusting off and moving my CD collection. Then perhaps cleaning the shelves they're currently on and putting books there instead.

I haven't done a scrap of work on the garden. Most of my seeds got ruined in a rain storm but I'll check through them, plan the garden and then maybe some digging and weeding.

If I can achieve this lot by the end of the week life would be so much easier and pleasanter!

I need to do something because i refuse to spend the weekends cleaning.

Logging off an shutting down for the day... off to have an epsom salt bath and a cup of fennel tea... they won't really offset the rather indulgent lunch, but might make me feel slightly less guilty about not going for a run today...

    Evening all

Thanks to FCC for the thread. I'll try to make an effort this week, but at the moment there's no way of knowing how it's going to go. DS2 is off colour, and so am I. Going to have an early night to see if I can ward it off.

Anything I can get done in the evenings will be a bonus, but I also want to make a bigger effort with meals. We've got enough in, but I need to plan ahead a bit and take stuff out of the freezer (and then cook it). Tomorrow may well be corned beef hash, as there are no left overs for a fry-up. I'll have a big salad and a small portion of hash, I think. No bananas, so I need to re-think my lunch for work.

Going to log off now and get organised. Have a good week, everyone, and hi to any new people. x
