Just sticking my nose in. Showers are really cheap - OP, you might find it easier to get someone to replace your shower with a new one than to find someone to mend it. If it's more than a year or 2 old, I would seriously consider this. I hope I am just being pessimistic, but I like to consider all options anyway.
