I bought a few things from Price-drop in late 2003. I was pleased with the delivery, didn't have any quality problems with any products. But a lot of things were often spotted on markets stalls for cheaper.

Just be careful, i ended up buying a couple of things i probably didn't need ! :)

  • I have bought/bided a few things from both bid-tv and price-drop. Sometimes they do sell rubbish, but generally speaking the quality of these goods are good. No problem with them if I needed to return items.

I bought a glass scale for around 16£ as well as a kacket for the same price and I must say the the quality/ price is excellent, even though I feel that a 6.95£ postage cost is really a rip off, because they sent 5 millions items since its creation and I believe that they have very good deal with delivery system.
Otherwise, a few months ago they mentionned the retail price of each product, but now it doesnt appear anymore, because I believe that prices were not correct ( a vivitar camera for 400 pounds is just not possible).

Was told that the RRP that they show on them programmes isnt actually as culture as it seems. :(
Bought a watch meant to be high quality brand name, bought it to the jewler and was told it wasnt worth the money we paid
showing RRP #250, We had paid #90 roughly.

And was told that if were to try and sell it, we would be lucky to get a tenna!!

I would suggest before buying any brand name or not, jewlery, go and talk to a genuine jewler and ask what does RRP actualy mean, and how they make a profit, if they are selling something that is sooo expensive at such a cheap price??...

Dont mean to sound so sceptical about all these channles but its worth thinking about before you think you've got the biggest bargain going

    HTH :)

    Hi there,

Bought a few things myself. Been quite pleased.

On a couple of occassions, i won some items (on their website) at really silly prices, £6 for sunglasses and £38 for a Bike. on both occassions, the items didn`t turn up. When I rang customer services, I was told that my `allocated` item was faulty and they were waiting on a reaplcement. If your ever told this, it is a load of codswallop !! They don`t want the item to go at that price and thats how they get out of it so beware !! strangely enough, they don`t have any more, so you don`t see a replacement and get a refund !
